About
I'm a Creative Director and studio leader with more than 20 years of experience creating games, building teams, and helping turn ambitious ideas into successful products.
Throughout my career I've worked across game design, art direction, product strategy, and studio leadership, guiding multidisciplinary teams from early concept through live operations. My passion lies in creating original IP, defining compelling creative visions, and building collaborative environments where talented people can do their best work.
I believe the strongest games come from teams that share a clear vision, understand their audience, and are empowered to contribute their expertise. Whether I'm shaping a new franchise, mentoring creative talent, or aligning stakeholders around a product strategy, my focus is always on helping teams create experiences that are both meaningful for players and commercially successful.
Originally from Germany, I moved to Canada as a teenager and later studied at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver. What began as a passion for drawing, storytelling, and games evolved into a career spanning creative leadership, studio growth, and product development. Along the way, I've had the opportunity to help build original mobile titles across strategy, simulation, and casual genres while growing teams and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
Outside of work, I'm endlessly curious. I enjoy sketching, reading science fiction and fantasy, exploring new technology, staying active through fitness and yoga, and finding inspiration in great games, great books, and great conversations. I believe creativity is fueled by curiosity, and I'm always looking for new ideas, new perspectives, and better ways to build memorable experiences.
